So that you can enjoy your vacation without any worries and be “Corona-Safe”, we would like to inform you about the current Covid-19 measures in Vienna.

Currently, no further measures apply in Vienna. The FFP 2 masks are mandatory in public transport, pharmacies, hospitals and airports.

 

The measures briefly and compactly summarized:

 

Distance & mask obligation: The FFP 2 masks are mandatory in public transport, pharmacies, hospitals and airports.

 

Gastronomy and Hotels: no further measures.

 

Leisure & culture: no further measures.

 

Customer areas: Throughout retail, FFP2 masks are mandatory in enclosed customer areas.

 

 

These measures apply to children:

 

A mouth-nose-protection obligation applies to children from the age of 6. An FFP2 mask requirement applies to children 14 years of age and older.
Children under 6 years of age are not required to wear a mask.

 

Free testing opportunities for tourists from abroad

 

You can get tested free of charge in the test lanes or gargle boxes of the City of Vienna (PCR tests only). Registration is required!

  • Gurgelbox at Josef Meinrad Platz, 1010 Vienna, 07:00 – 19:00

 

Free testing for domestic tourists

 

Get a free PCR gargle test at any Billa, Billa Plus, Bipa. https://allesgurgelt.at/

  • You can also get tested for free at all pharmacies, test streets and gargle boxes in the city of Vienna (PCR tests only). Registration is required!
  • Test Street Austria Center Bruno-Kreisky-Platz, 1220 Vienna, 07:00 – 19:00
  • Gargle Box at Josef Meinrad Platz, 1010 Vienna

PCR tests are also available without pre-registration at the following Covid-19 test stations:

  • Vienna Airport in the Health Centre, Office Park 3, 1300 Vienna, 69€.
  • FastTest Center, Kärntner Straße 47, 1010 Vienna, antigen rapid test 39€ and PCR test 89€
  • FastTest Center, Seilergasse 14, 1010 Vienna, Antigen Rapid Test 39€ and PCR Test 89€

 

 

 

What should I do if I get sick on holiday?

 

If you do not feel well and suspect that you have been infected, please stay in your flat and contact us by phone.

To get free medical treatment as soon as possible, please contact the health hotline 1450.

They will be able to assist you and give you further information. If you are sick with Corona and are quarantined by the authorities, you can stay in a room at the Hotel de France. Of course, you do not have to pay for the costs yourself.
